Techtron are market leaders in contract packing and the formulation of chemicals. With over 30 years’ experience in the industry, they know all there is to know about putting liquids into bottles.
In 2021, they found themselves in need of a new website. Clear were doing the digital marketing at the time and increasingly, the limitations of the old site prevented progress and growth. Techtron wanted to give greater prevalence the white goods range of products they could work with, emphasising their expertise in a number of sectors.
When designing the logo, the design process involved team discussions to develop concepts and many iterations to develop and finesse the marks used to construct the logo.
The brief
The site needed to showcase strong imagery, while maintaining the excellent digital marketing results the team had already achieved.
The most important initial step in the project was creating a really strong brief. Working with the client closely, we incorporated our digital marketing strategy into the creation of the brief, to help future-proof the site as best we could.
This meant the site had to be fast, present a modern aesthetic, meet the demands of a progressive SEO and PPC strategy, and be a valuable platform for further developing the brand and showcasing new and existing services.
Our strategy
Considering the level of flexibility required of the site, it was decided to use Clear’s own proprietary CMS. This enabled us to tailor the end result very closely to the needs of the client and our own ambitions for progressing.
A unique element of the website are the “product” pages. While not an ecommerce website, it was important to showcase the white goods that Techtron can produce to clients. This is especially important for the critical Pet and Vet Grooming sector, which resonates with the imagery and content presented.
This was developed further to really highlight the USPs of the products by using a unique icon system. The client created a number of icons that were easily understood by customers – pH balanced, suitable for all breeds etc. We then developed a unique management system, so the client could apply these icons to products whenever they needed to and could upload new ones with minimal further development.

Overall, the website has gone from strength to strength since the update. Thanks to a combination of the new site, ongoing marketing activity and the high level of quality that Techtron deliver for their clients, they’re seeing record numbers of online enquiries, phone calls and overall lead generation.
